ji,  born in Rajburi in 1969, obtained an MFA degree in sculpture from Silpakorn University, Thailand. Yin, born in Chiang Mai in 1968, obtained an MA degree in Metalwork from Royal College of Art, UK. Since 2002 Jiandyin are interdisciplinary collaborative artists. Their works focus on creating situation  to construct relationships between human and human in relation to his/her social context. In 2010, they initiated 2 ongoing research and development projects: “Dialogue: Seeing and Being”, an interactive performance base drawing project that invite audience to participate by drawing portraits for them in public space began in New York and San Francisco and continued in other countrie: “We are Going to Taipei”, 2012, We Are Going to Umbria, Italy, 2013, etc. that included visiting participants’ homes, documenting where they placed the portraits jiandyin drew for them and developing more collaborations and the “On Adaptation” project where it was firstly developed in Headland Center for the Arts, California, 2010, the aim is to dissolve white cube or art space into a service platform for young artistic practitioner or local enterprise, the process has built a relationship between the young enterprise and the artists and the set up platform has generated interactive artistic activity within the actual process in each professional area of participated local enterprise, the project continued in Berlin, Germany, 2013, with a work title: Appointment and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, 2015, with a work title: Mae Klong – Kao Hsiung : Jartown Enterprise.

Jiandyin were awarded a fellowship grant from the Asian Cultural Council in 2009 and were artists in residence at Headlands Center for the Arts San Francisco ,International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP) NY 2010, Treasure Hill Artist Village, Taipei, Taiwan 2012, Civitella Ranieri center, Umbria Italy, Lichtenberg Studios, Berlin, Germany  2013. Since 2011, They have been creating community platforms for contemporary art and cultural development  in Rajburi province, Thailand and Found NongpoKIDdee work group for community art projects for children/neighborhood in their home town. In curatorial practices, they curated a Nongpo Short Film Festival #1 & 2, 2011-2013, co-curated THAI TAI : A Measure of Understanding project, Bangkok-Taipei and OCAC Bangkok project 2012-2013, the METRO SAPIENS : Dialogue in the cave 2013. They have exhibited internationally: REACTIVATION, 9th Shanghai Biennale. The Exotika 2013, Bangkok-Berlin. 14th Asiatopia international performance art festival, Bangkok. 5th OK Video FLESH  Indonesia International Video Festival, Jakarta. They currenly live and work in Rajburi,Thailand

Pornpilai and Jiradej Meemalai are also invited lecturers and instructors include Creative Morphology lecture, Technopreneurship and Innovation Management PhD study program, Chulalongkorn University, 2011, Bangkok, The CMU Art Center, MA program, Fine Art Department, Chiangmai, Thailand, 2013, BA study program of Faculty of Fine and Applied Art, Thammasart University, since 2006 and MA, BA study program of Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Chulalongkorn UniversityBA study program of Faculty of Decorative Arts, Silpakorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. In June 2010, they had studio visits for MA students at the Department of Art, California State University, Long Beach, L.A. They were invited artists in several workshops include A Revelation from Ponso no Tao, moving image workshop with Tao-wu ethnic children on Lan Yu or Orchid Island, Taiwan, supported by Taitung county government, 2014, I Tarzan You Jane – Global Archetypes in Comics and Trash Video workshop with children of K3 Kinder-Kiez-Klub Moabit, Berlin, 2013, YZU Creative art workshop at Department of Art and Design, Yuan Ze University, 2012, Art, Nature and Community Life in Ratchaburi Workshop Project organized by ministry of Culture of Ratchaburi province and Ratchabhat Jombueng College, 2012, Beyond Paradise The Nordic Artists Travel East Exhibition & Education Program, National Arts Gallery, Bangkok, Thailand, 2002.
